Narrative on MRT

Most of us travel by train to work, every morning day in & day out and of course be it rain or shine. But sometimes somethings someone using this public service are really a pain in the arss~

Allow me to spot afew for us to debate on:

1. Z-Cards in the bags

Only happens at the gantry, they never bother to take their cards out of their bags and when failed to get the "bee bee" sound, they just merely kept tossing and turning their bags trying to find the correct spot where the card is located... Inmeantime, jam the ones behind~ (ok to put card in bag, but once jam ppl not nice)

2. DJs on board

Inspired to be DJs but sort of can't make it as a DJ.... So what to do? DO IT IN THE TRAIN lohhh! These are those dudes blasting their FM or MP3 capable handphones and making the rest to listen to their arranged music. To be frank, this is sort a upcoming trend le.... (Nice music ok, so far all like bad arrangement, maybe that explains why they are DJ-un-be-able...

3. Win, Lose or Draw

See needy who needs a sit more than anyone in the cabin. These people will look around their side and make unintended eye contact battle to see who gives up and give the sit away for the needy. If non gives up, it's a draw!

Attention for those who is interested in National Vertical Marathon (NVM) 2007!

Due to extremely POOR responses from top, bottom, front, back, left & right of those human beings I knew + really the cases of some really poor comments and attitudes from some minority fews, I decided to forgo forming the so-called TEAM.

I Witnessed THE ROBBERY~~~ Happening le~~~

For everybody please who just spotted the picture above, TIANPO was definately not giving away any free golds nor silvers this coming festive season nor was there any big celebrity chilling inside the store. So!!! Why was the crowd all cluster-sticking around there?

After I moved further in, I saw one man holding hostage but due to lack of practise he quickly ganna flipped over by the Security Personnels in WESTMALL. Please I thought for a moment, even uncle ah pek type securities can ham dam bo lar that robber... OMG! Either our WESTMALL guards are fierce HUNKS in diguise of weak-looking uncles or the robber is truly one weako~

What a scene to observed after one harsh day at work...... Yawnnn & soon I returned home parting the robbery scene, well with almost 5 to 6 securities pressing ontop on that weako robber....

Making a Bear

It's in the box loooooh~

Made a bear today... Anyway it's not for self-keep but one birthday present to someone I knew, oh yes it was pretty interesting and for those wondering what to get for young kids, for gfs or even for office deco can try out this place loacated in Explanade!

First choose a bear, second fluff the bear up, third bath the bear, fourth wear the clothes & lastly do up its birth cert and pay for it at the counter. Hmmm, not much of a job but definately cheers and makes a girls happy if you bring her along. Just need to bring along a ATM or Credit card with you can le~

The thing that monitors the what thing???

Just as anyone might wonder, why is there a funny-looking box at the local MRT station? I drew myself closer to this box and read off the words on a sticker pasted on the grey box... Hmmm, a Automatic Tunnel Monitoring System, it said on it.

What does it monitor? Just the tunnel? Or train, or speed, or to see anyone trying to jump off the track and it will sort of jam-brake the train at FULL ultimate force!!?? Well at the end of the day, my train came and goes....

Above is the link to sign up for NVM (National Vertical Marathon 07), the event proudly organized by NTU. It will be held at Republic Plaza, running up 60 floors and cost SGD18. You will also get goodie bag and race tee at the end of everything and also small carnival around the building area~

Ok lah, done my part... Too tired to message or call anyone more when no one actually reply me or call me back, sibei feeling let down... Maybe I target wrong crowd, hai~ ok la, better wake up my idea from here onwards...

Not blaming anyone here or there or anywhere. Just some people don't get it, I'm jio-ing and some really take advantage of it. Ask me print form, take form to the person, get the details and sign and pay first, take to NTU, pay.... etc on and on....

Was taking a cab home on the Saturday morning, the sky's still pretty gloomy for somewhat 2am... The reason why I'm still outside on the road was totally unexpected, I thought the wedding dinner was going to end early but never did I plan for another hangout in town. Well, so there I am awake on the quiet streets of Singapore...

Chijmes was the next door so couple of us decided to chill out there, Cosafe Cafe.... Hmmm if by any chance you pop by there, it definately worth a check out...


......... By the time I woke up on the Sunday, it was already noon. Darn do I hated waking up late, apparently there's just 1/2 day left for relaxing before MONDAY blues kicks in~ I drag her out on one missionary trip down Queensway Shop Cen, the later to IKEA. Was looking for my OAKLEY shades which turn out now targeting at Rudy Project.... Much higher-end product than those normals on the streets.

LET"S DO THIS TO KICK START A GREAT 2007 YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROAR~

Everybody listen up! It's just a month to CNY!!! Hmmm a month huh? Well a month is actually a very short few days away. Maybe for those really looking for some good break, this year we have 3 days of PH for CNY, plus for some lucky ones out there taking further offs after that you might end up enjoying CNY for the whole week...

PIG year, we must live up to it! Lets all turn fat together in this year so anyone with me? I think the momentum of entering this chinese festival is getting slower and slower and later and later~ When I was just a little kid, two months before the day we have been hearing festive songs broadcasting around the island, people hanging deco (red) all places and pots of makan goodies or even flowers coming in to our markets, etc.

Ha, anyway just see how it goes lah~

Today feature one goodies that maybe many of you'll didn't ate for a long long time:

Friday.... Saturday....Sunday.....

Sharing my weekends, and to begin with definately got to kick it off in one of my fav cafe... Daze around the local shopping district was the usual later program since the girl never once gotten sick of shopping... The sky was pretty blue and heavy looking for the past few days & so it was today, and its tears seems never ending flowing down onto Earth, bringing gray to the streets...


Weekends becomes special and mysterious once you break your comfort zone and wonder into the unknown places, this time round I landed myself into some Art Gala inside a hotel Marina Mandarin... A wonderful creative artist that immediately capture my eyes with her works and brought me into her world... Her name was Sandra Lee...


As much as I would like to buy her works, it seems like I may not have the budget to get one... Nevertheless, I gotten down her number and hopefully one day I will be able to re-visit her again...

Dinner was a long drive to the east... Bump into one of the recommended place for having steamboat, but using porridge replaced the soup and wahhhh llaaaaa, what laid infront will be a spectacular porridge steamBoat... We put all sort of stuffs in, fish udon, crab balls, prawns, eggs, lettuces & many many more...



................ And so the day passed off with new discovery added into my world!

my MC day

Had been feeling weirdly over my tummy for the past few days, and this morning it just struck me so bad I got to stay home avoiding work.... The L.S. was so torturing and was feeling soft and giddy everytime I stood up, urrr~

I got back to sleep after sms my boss and taking some funny-looking medicines my mom stuffed into my mouth, "ah boy ooooh, always sleep so late, see now sick le then you know!!!" screamed my mom at me. Now although as giddy as usual, I still don't get how sleeping late got to do with L.S.?


Just when I was thinking to get one good rest, my mom came knocking in my room at about 10am in the morning waking me UP..... I thought it was another medicine taking but to my sian-ness, it was because the air-con servicing man is coming and I got to wake up to clear the room for the dude...

Just see how messy the room gets, and I typically sat there in the living room with my pillow half asleep and in pain waiting for the aircon man to done with his work....

I spent the day resting and not thinking much about anything else happening in the world.... The day was raining, all the while to night and really makes it a cold day~

Aermmmmm, weekend is coming.... 2 weeks of 2007 had just passed........

Yawnnnn.....

I am making my life into some routine. Hmmm, and I almost can closed one eye and carry out the similar procedures day in & day out. Routine makes our life more predictable, stable and slightly maybe more comfortable, e.g. waking up in the morning at the same hour, taking the same sit on the bus or train, eating at the same table for lunch or even going into the same toilet everyday in office.

And during the weekends, I always feel a huge urge to break free from such routine! Visit some places not yet seen for myself in S'pore, spending some money on some fancy-ful things spotted on the streets ( provided don't eat grass later), or perhaps even do some cooking inhouse~

Here are some of the exciting things I yet to try and WISH to try:

1. Cook one proper dinner for my family.
2. Street perform along Orchard Rd.
3. Visit my Polytechnic after 6 years since I left.
4. Fly a kite at Marina South.
5. Feeding a cat at my neighbourhood.
6. Find a see-saw and play it.
7. Sign my name at the Merlion.
8. Book a chalet and sleep one night.
9. Bowling.

Hangouts

Every year I visited the one and only Fountain of Wealth in Singapore. I believe it's always a symbolism of good luck blessing for every start of a year, and to much extent hehe it do sort of turn out the way it be...
Ain't weekends lovely when spent with loved one, doesn't have to have a purpose or specific place to be in, many times it just get things moving great even in one tiny sidewalk cafe... Watching the people walking pass, listening to all sounds dancing around you, watching ants marching by little road of their's & enjoying the juice in your hands........

Life of a Chiong-er....

It was just any normal night walking back my apartment after a good saturday hangout, nothing was suppose to happen however to the least I knew I'm about to experience a shocking event!

A boy, looked about 16++ was handsomely dressed looking at the second floor. He just managed to got into my sight since he's standing along my way to the lift, THEN suddenly came two sound, Kong kok~ Immediately my eyes drove all the way up and to my SHOCK!!!!

I saw another young lady, dressed in black slender-looking dress standing outside her apartment's window at the second floor (apparently there's a platform outside HDB apartement windows for aircon repair man type)! Her heels had hit the ground was the sound I heard, I looked at the young boy staring back at me... The girls seems to be wanting to jump down from there, and somemore the boy down was ready to hob aka catch her!!! My steps drew me closely to them, and when the girl saw me, she pulled back her right leg which seems like a accidental slipoff~ " Its kinda high, please don't do that...." I said.

The boy ignored and told me he's ready... WHAT E F**K? My steps continued to walk into the lift and by the time I walked back home, I really cannot stand it anymore and turned back downstairs....



The girl & boy was gone............ All left were one angry father putting his head out of the opened window searching despartely for something and another crying mother covering her face weeping.....

Life of one chiongster huh? I wondered what makes the young girl picked up such determination and courage to jump off a almost 4.5 meter high window, is it only just for one night out having FUN? What can she think of when she turned back her head looking back after many years down the road.... What is a family like her's is to not using the door?

First day of a year, and whatmore can one wish for except having all the members in the family gather together. Even its just one aimlessly get together, it definately an opportunity to know how one another is getting along... For me, I spend one great afternoon with my girl's family and of course as the title goes, the place is at Singapore Botanical Garden!

2007 Finally Here!!!

Are you just grate that you just survived one year, or do you feel full of hopes for the coming year 2007??!! But no matter what, on my side, its definately one fantastic year in 2006 and I will always ways~ remember!

NOW ITS 2007 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No fancy countdown, no fancy fireworks, no big spendings.... I pass my 2006 with my blog now! Blogging in the house, and more of the dreams and hopes in this anticipating 2007! I welcomed 2007 with a bigger heart and of course bigger dreams..... larvish lifestyle here I come!!!!!!!!

I wish for more new experiences in life, meet with more people living in this world, accomplish more great things , many many more and last but no least, most importantly of all is to stay healthy and charming~~~~~
