I called this my second home. Somewhere I spent most of the day at, from Monday till Friday. A little corner to myself, well not too big, not too small yet it fits nicely for my size. A correct fit huh? Who knows again~

The view is pretty cool, covering almost every single souls on the floor... Ermm, I sit at the very corner, some call it the EDGE! Edgy huh? Corner always seems bigger no matter how one looks at it... Corner apartments, Landed property, parking lots, etc always bigger than many others & same applys to me~ :p

Felt pretty honor too, why? I sits nearest to VPs, Managers & my direct boss. Normally green horns sit further away from them, wait! Isn't this abit unlucky too? All they have to do is open doors and waaah laaaa, spot me liao~

Popping by CHIJMES, her dad took us up one beautiful stairs and arrived at SUN JAPANESE DINING. Posh was the first impression that flown into my mind, second is what a great discovery of such fine Jap Dining located in the middle of town. You know, many of us passed by CHIJMES maybe couple of times in one's life time, but usually how often do we actually explore to the second floor?

As much as I expected, the entire room was artistic and clean, soft classical music flowing round the floor through their BOSE systems & what else more you can demand after that were the good smile from their crews and the food!

I ordered one assorted seafood sashimi, which you find them delicately displayed on tiny plates and severed to you. She ordered a fantastic salmon set meal while the dad got himself one fusion style dish consisting of japanese fried garlic rice and beef platter.

Besides the place I been to, I still manage to spot out another stylish dining (japanese) just round the corner downstairs.... Some may know about this but allow me to share to those still unfamiliar. Gyu-Kaku is the name of the place and it served truly euthentic japanese beef* (for those beef lovers).... Some may know, but for those hard cor type~ There's "KOBE BEEF" in the house!!!

Try it to know it~ U jap lovers out there...............

Saturday work is nothing more than "sianz"... The usual lunch out took place at the nearby kopitiam at Taus place, and the only thing there to appreciate if lesser crowd! To make lunch more exciting, a race was set against two cars, which we bet on which one will reach there first... And of course, it's the usual tight race.

The blue seems more and more chio to me! Well of course after fixing up so many parts on her, this sure seems like a monster now and frankly this set up sure cost a little little bit but at least blood still not all over the place.....

Now for her front view, back view and all view!!!!

Quick stop after lunch to Stamford to take a quick look at all the goodies pack in store! Yiipee, when can I get one for my Suzuki Swift? Barging into the store was a terrible mistake! See no buy is really a torment for me and afew of my khakis colleages. Oh boy guess we really needed one fortune god type santa to grant us all our wishes in that store!!!












oh Oh wait wait, what can I simply say? Just look at the store! Can the boss just come to me and say: "Brian, Go ahead and pick whatever you want!"...... HAHAHA~

When the night has comes, and the day is wet.... Ermmm doesn't really makes a beautiful picture but what can I say, a no snow christmas but anyhow this tropical island where I stay on do tried its best in creating some chill weather for this festive season.

Besides some flooded streets and disturbing rain water wetting our feets. It'ssss quite comforting anyway, least I felt it this way~

Christmas..... ahhhh xmas......

I woke up this morning thinking whether to jog or cycle, but eventually dear sky made a call for me. After brushing my teeth and heading back to my room, a series of thunders roam across the sky, and soon after that sky waters started dripping down.

Not too bad for an early sunday morning, nice cool windy but the world just seems abit dark for a moment. And I find this moment rather comforting for awhile and all the week's stress getting away~ Almost too comforting and relaxing that I didn't felt disappointed that this rain stopped me from stepping out. What can I say? "I just took a little time to calm down & relax" Well, sometimes doing nothing is the best thing to do to relax....

Ahhh, perhaps this is the feelings of Xmas... Its always about coming to another year end, and while looking back we often will ask ourselves how did this year went? Did it go the way we intend it to at the start of the year or maybe less fortunate?

I asked myself these types of questions every now and then, I just hate the feelings and thoughs of not experiencing anything in my life!

I looked back and found these experiences of mine I wish to share~

When the Night has Comes.........

Night Falls

Q - ing

The day began with oh my weekend coming soon! Funny thoughs yet it had become my every week goal. Perhaps its about the same for everyone else working now or maybe their weekends are burn which can be pretty bad....

Today I looked at my Q at Boonlay bus interchange and ponder upon the mass crowd infront of me. Boy am I going to be in this kind of Q for the rest of my life, or how many years do I have to stack up with these people every single day morning of my life? Before the thoughs went wild, I suddenly though of owning a CAR....

Some says waste of money but I say I buy TIME with a car! Just imagine the time saved from waiting, pushing, bashing & sometimes even smelling funny odours.

I had alot to say but today darn tired! Went to the gym + jog with my fellow colleages.... ZZZzzzZZzzzzzZzz~

A beautiful weekend

Just before the indians come back next week, I better enjoy myself wholesomely now else often then not weekends will be burn. The sun is shining bright while most people will still be nauhing on their beds, I had already getting ready for the excursion!

Its been awhile since I visited the nature near my stay. I almost forgot the smell, the views and the tiny and strange animals living in them. I picked up my mountain bike, prepared enough water and off I hit the trails of the forgotten nature path~

What you see above is the Bt Batok nature reserve. For those staying in the west I presume you have all visited this place. But those staying else where... This is one good hangout for a early morning stroll around. The air is fresh cool while gentle winds blowing at your faces.

Ok, for me still sweat alot due to the long long climb up the slope! Want to have a feel of how slope the slope is, try is out yourself someday.... If you wish for more challenge, take the slope on a bike~

MANS NIGHT

The Man Night began with one simple dinner over at Marina, everyone was anticipated as this is the official opening of our regular Man's outing. Some ain't available due to possibly unforseen reasons so we might as well get it off started with 7 dudes! But first lets talk about the missing fews~

BG aka fatty bom bom, ganna enveloped and sent to Scottish mama there to milk cows. Javier aka Brain of century, ganna OT OT OT OT. Allan aka ah tiong aka Mr sexy, ganna dunno why never reply my sms! Hopefull he's not suffuring from THE RUN aftermath??? Ok, thats all for now for these three top missing few examples....

We chat about everything under the sky that night, surprisingly we'll confirm one THING! Bernice is the angel in our heart, the night had never been successful without her name flying around... (Bernice, if you want to find out WHY??? Come next time)..... Another ATTENTION is on one thing & I wonder if that particular dude tune in my blog channel but We'll have sure something to make u come next TIME!!!! Listen:

Standard Chartered Run 2006

Yes! The big run event of the year for me is finally over and am I not proud of finishing the entire journey? This year we have a much larger bunch running off together in the same category and weeeee all made it to the end!


I gracefully ran in with a time of 2hrs 42 mins, well a pretty decent timing with first time atempting it. The last few km was truly a torment for my legs putting me into great pain endurance as my cramp on my right thigh kicked in~ I held on to my teeths and pull it all way to the crowds cheering, music blasting, chio bu clapping & smiling finishing line.

Next year, we going accomplish the 42.195......

What happens when all the handles are taken on the sides and you appear ain't tall enough to grab the top bar? Solution is to use the bloody hockey stick of your's well if you happen to one hockey-er~

This is what I called, one stick ermmmm MULTIPLE USES.........

The search was on for dinner along cityhall, where one fine man and another shorty girl tagging behind, and furthermore some other khakis all the way infront...

Guess where we ended up in after the toss and turns about to spot a decent place to host 8 of us.... Relatively a new place and I am very sure you have seen it more than one time while passing by citylink. YEs!!! The NEW YORK NEW YORK baby~ Try it because its a full original AMERICA serving that almost everything will burst your tummy! + DARN SINFUL~~~ But all is worhtwhile man.
