Oh come on, are you kidding me!!?? CoCo Lee's hot devil body featured everywhere along the tracks at CityHall MRT station was absolutely stunning~ How'd hell did she maintained those curves, tones and looks GIRL~

The boys are drooling all places in the station, even those security rifle patrol dudes are glancing at them! Girls are darn jealous of her, and I happened to overheard one flocks of ladies mentioning this:"Aiyo~ Must be photoshop edited one lahhh...." Come on you know, face it lah I meant, how much I wanted to inform her. Hahaha~

GOOD FOR U, CoCo!!! Keep it up.............

'Failure awaits for you when it comes a time you think you have already knew everything'

Think that you have know alot? Think twice, because that is often the cause of your failure. Puzzled about why and what am I trying to say, well, the reason is that I heard & seen couple of situations given me the thoughs right above in RED.

Now come on, I'm really addressing on some of those who really think they knew alot to think again about after reading what I have to say. I was chatting with my friends, mostly my fellow grads in university with some older than me, some younger than me. This older-than-me chap is really a headache, first he thinks that "All the other grads had enter wrong industry, he especially mentioned those in semicon ones", and he himself had made a right choice! He tends to advise alot on the way people live and the attitude a-must-must display in workplace as he himself like have been working for 10++ years those old folks. Oh~~~ nothing wrong when someone like him popped out a sentence or two, but critizising all times during the chat is horrible!

I mean you know, there's more of these out there... You're graduate, so? You have a job, so? You think you knew everything, NO!!! hahahaha~

You becomes ARROGANT+ stupid, if you think you knew everything. Take a suvey & notice some of these;

  1. Class gathering, & no ones calls you up anymore!
  2. You lunch alone! Or maybe most of times.
  3. Sheldom anyone comes over your desk and speak to you, even if sometimes it's job related.
  4. You find yourself talking all way for >5mins, while everyone is looking around, forming their own chat section.

Oh one more point to bring across! If you're ain't a Master in Heart Affairs, never never anyhow hit on any ladies in the workplace. Worst comes when you hit on every single ladies in your boundries. Die faster~~~

Meantime, good luck to those Know-it-all ones

Interpretation of my Name

My name is Brian Chong, nice to meet you! Apparently some people especially the older folks tends to mis-read my name very often, the tougue twisting and rolling of pronouncing Brian is proven as a challening task to them. Don't believe me? Try any chinese older generation who received not too many education one and you'll see they will have a hard time calling my name...

Sooooo, what happen is that they tend to modify your name, yes that's right your name into something much simpler to read or maybe call. Following are some of my examples:

Original: Mr Brian Chong
Nice people will call me: Chong or Brian (if those can pronouce ones)
Cheeky people will name me: Brian Chong = 白羊虫 or sometimes just 白虫.
Indians always call me: Brian into sometime it sounds till like BRINE~~~~

Alamak, give up lah..... So now you see how many nicks I have just working for merely 3 weeks!
HAHAHA! Flattered lol!

I Strongly Recommend This Movie!!!

"After losing his crew in a fatal crash, legendary Rescue Swimmer, Ben Randall (KEVIN COSTNER), is sent to teach at "A" School, an elite training program for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. Wrestling with the loss of his crew members, he throws himself into teaching, turning the program upside down with his unorthodox training methods. While there, he encounters a young, cocky swim champ, Jake Fischer (ASHTON KUTCHER), who is driven to be the best. During training, Randall helps mold Jake’s character, combining his raw talent with the heart and dedication required of a Rescue Swimmer. Upon graduation, Jake follows Randall to Kodiak, Alaska, where they face the inherent dangers of the Bering Sea. In his initial solo rescue, Jake learns firsthand from Randall, the true meaning of heroism and sacrifice, echoing the Swimmer’s motto..."So Others May Live!"

OK folks, this is really a darn good movie must must watch for the month of October... It will be officially release next week but for those desperados, do hurry dash to any nearby cinema to buy the weekends previews! We have reviews from famous people commending on it's good actings, visual graphics, storyline & many other more.

My tips for this show, grab a good sit preferably slightly the last few rows to feel the effects more realistically~ Caution for those POPCON eaters as your pops will be so excited during the show that they starts popping around!

Cheers! A happy happy Deepavali to all............

My Complain-Full Day

Hai.....................

Working late for the past few weeks deserved nothing more but to leave the company early once in awhile. And the next happy thing worth looking forward to is doing whatever you prefer after work, but usually somehow, somewhere, sometimes things just don't move the way it should have moved.....

Having enough stresses from work is torturing on anyone, and if after that you still got to face furthermore nuisance, it becomes a WORLD-CRASHING experience! If these terrible injects come from the one you love most, die liao loh.............. It becomes the whole day of enjoyment destroy!!!

Enough already! Both have enough servings of stress & other loadings for a day, just be easy-going on one another now~ Be more comprimising, understand where he/she comes from. Nobody wants a unhappy ending, right?

Here's some of the Important mindset you should have:

  • There's no gender preferences in under-going stress. Both Man & Woman suffers it, especially on the first three days of any week!
  • Don't ever ever think that his/her type-of-stress is peanuts compared to your's!
  • Don't compared one another stress!
  • If you're tired, GO HOME... Forcing oneself to meet up will almost 100% end up fighting!
  • Fix on what you want to eat before meeting up, don't come to think only when together!
  • Understand work must OT! No body in this world working don't need to OT in their life!

Vivo City very very.....

Having just 60% operational ready, the shops at Vivo City is nothing all but enough to shack you from head to tail. How do I know? Because having to stroll merely three floors of Vivo took me around 6 hours.

Ok, abit long it is when your girlfriend wanted to enter every single shops at every main hall, alleys and even those corners! Well, there's quite abit of stores offering fantastic clothings & stuffs for both MAN & WOMAN... Famous retailers like the GAP, PULL n BEAR, TED BAKER, etc are all found at Vivo. Besides the special news one, common faces like Mango, Charles n Keith, Adiddas, Nike, CoffeBean, food courts (2 of them infact) are also present!

Apart from these wonderful new inserts, there's sort of no Macdonalds, KFC, BurgerKing spotted at Vivo. Else only Carl's Junior is along one of the many food alleys. I really hope there's also some sort of big book stores around there like Kinokuniya. And +++ please put more atms around the area, don't make me walk all way back to Harbourfront Center to draw cash...

Attention ladies, a good graded shopping center comes with a clean + nicely deco toilets! But sadly Vivo's toilets are soooo FLOODED with customers till everything jams up inside!!! It smells, and there's one I even see muddy water flooding the floor with me tip toe-ing out immediately.

(Inside Godiva, boy the chocolate taste GOOD~)

Things Realized After Working~

THINGS ARE:

  1. Always wear a smile, it shows your humble friendly attitude as a freshie in the company & will get into the circle earlier.
  2. Being busy means you are of value and serve a purpose there.
  3. Being non-busy means two things; (a) Seniors not willing to teach. (b) Be ready to get invited off as you serve no task.
  4. Getting married is good, because you don't have to spend time meeting gf and sending her home while feeling all tire after the long day~ All is to go home & see her, time is better managed after that.
  5. Working OT is normal! makes sure OT-ing is notice by boss, if not presenting him a taxi claim the next day will makes boss guess if you are really working or just chatting on MSN.
  6. Walk around the office with a piece of paper or file, makes people feel that you are moving around for work, ain't walking around loathing...
  7. Lunch time is for eating, not for napping at your sit although it's lunch by right.
  8. Don't always stay late in office, people will find you no-life + eager to prove something...
  9. Friday, Saturday & Sunday are best days of a week.
  10. Owning a car is an investment to cut time on travelling, in another way gives you more time to spend on other things.
  11. Being busy or tired isn't a good explaination for not keeping fit. Do it in weekends if there's a need.
  12. Napping all day long over weekends are total waste of LIFE!
  13. Once a week, treat yourself to some nice food at nice places. (Please don't go foodcourts or fastfood resturants).
  14. Keep your desk full of notes, files, papers, pens. Too clean a working desk makes you looks like any watch dog in a house. "Just keeping a lookout & Do nothing for whole day"
  15. Experiences WINS over your whatever class degree you have. Never look down on those technicians and foreign workers...
  16. "Comment your ideas over to your lower link, don't Command!"
  17. Class 95 FM has become my motivational radio station when I step out in the morning!
  18. Beware of morale sinkers, aka people in the office that sink your work morale by spreading many negatives about the company.
  19. Choose a MRT cabin that has beautiful ladies, trust me it makes your day shine abit more!
  20. Don't think about work when you're home (sometimes v hard I understand)... Relax~~~
  21. Loan DVDs to watch, it's a good way to sit back, nuah & enjoy the show....
  22. Blogging of my daily life becomes a hobby!
  23. Spend more money to get yourself a quality bed + pillow. The last thing you want is to wake up feeling all beat still...
  24. I always set a nice waking up ring tone on my mobile phone, when it rings me up in the morning, I feel GOODz!!!
  25. A light supper makes the night more enjoyable...........

Almost.... Almost Die!

"WATCH OUT FOR THE CAR!!!" I screamed at the toppest of my voice.... The taxi driver spinned the wheel hard left following a hard right, and the same time I was being threw all the way about in the back sit! BANG! The turning right car ganna a hit on its left~

Oh boy, it scared the soul out of me. All I wanted is to get home asap after OT-ing to 8pm in the night along a "Birds dun fly, Dog dun shit" place... Then such happening thing occured at TohGuan road that shock the sleepy me up....

Finally I reached home in a piece, tired + shocked~

As we waited..............

(Me waiting there.....)

As we wait for grandpa's operation to be done, all we had to do is WAIT patiently............ The looks on my family are all too tired after the long day waiting in the bay, lets hope things goes well!

星期日, 10月 08, 2006

Opps, sorry a bad link up for my para-view picture taken... This is one wonderful eatery at westcoast place, we drove here for our dinner after visiting grandpa in his war. Just wanna share this place!

I woke up early, brushed my teeth and put on the riding gear. Taking this baby out for a ride had been my long awaited thing to do at the begining of this week. Thanks to the haze issues and couples of busy schdules at work, I finally managed to sort everything & ride this morning!

I made a slow start off along Bt Batok road leading to CCK, enjoying the cleared sky and cool weather (PSI: 32). After turning into the LCK road, speed picks up and the dash goes! Yes, stress stress all blown away by the wind.... Tough call was made whether to ride into NTU or headed straigth home after the stretch along LCK? It was NTU in the end, and woah the place do change alot eversince a few months back. Renovation and new buildings are raising up from every niches on the land.

I stopped around the business blocks to catch a break, inmeantime enjoying the gentle wind brezzing onto my face & remembering the times in university.

It was just merely an 2hours ride, and boy it totally lighten my day up!

Work Week's Weekends....

I felt I gained pretty lot today even I was called back to work to almost the whole day and gets no pay but just one day-off by our senior vice-president. While some may find working OT may be a dampering moment, well I sometimes do agree but while looking on the other side, I had those times to mingle with the other colleages, know the job better as whole & realized many other culture of my new work place.

Leaving at almost near 5pm, I was lucky enough to take taxi back home which was claimable too... Later I went over to Simei meeting my girl, and we zoom off to a BBQ session organized by one of her mom's khakis. Frankly, the haze is really torturing enough and standing any near a BBQ pit makes it double worse! But for the food, I merely hack it~

BBQ foods ain't just my cup of tea, maybe its the haze thats disturbing the scene. Smoke seems to appear from everywhere along the beach, while if the weather's going be cold enough, it will very much makes me feel in Genting... HAHA~

Gelare is our next stop for some chilling tasty cold FOOD.... Take a peek below, a place along upper east coast rd.... Pretty much a nice hang out!

Tomorrow is a Saturday...............

................ And I'll be working till evening.

(Things are surely getting more interesting)

星期三, 10月 04, 2006

Today I threw a childish temper upon myself, and for a few minutes I though to myself just lets give up on my job... Childish isn't it? I even held myself in the toilet for about awhile for waking up my bloddy idea. I always don't learn to take things slowly & ended up giving myself alot to swallow thus leading to extreme stress FELT....

Luckily, for anyone like me & feeling this way. I'm so grateful Jill is there for me, meeting her at JP and a slow stroll along the malls did lighten up my spirit. She sort of knew how to handle me better and better, and she always have her secret formula to help me chill it down.

I'm dashing into everything to rushly... Eager to perform yet feeling too restraint of those things to catch up while others knew so much of already, but one thing is those people had been hanging around that place for say at least 3 years type~

Ok, like many other peers whom had advise, "you really got to take it step by step". I stop, listen, think and hey the bell do ring in my head.... I have to have something to hold on to working everyday, and everyone do as well this way. Some may persist because of weekends, because of prospects, and even short event like what to do after work?

For me, planning for weekends is a great motivation to me! Same goes to the daily after-work-activities I plan for myself now.... Making the light see-able at the end of the tunnel (day) works pretty well....

KEEP FIGHTING~

Day One Work

Many "Gan Jiong" thoughs running through the mind, which made me rather hard to fall asleep the night before my very first day at work. The day had been long awaited yet there's this kind of weird feelings running through, oh am I behaving lazy. Not really, I sat down for a moment thinking, its just the feeling of leaving a protected compound & stepping into another unfamiliar zone that made me aka aka once more.....

Having to spend the efforts to show one's significance in a work place is taxing. But its just my first day, am I too rush to set such a high demand upon myself? Double the intense when ah gong still in the ward, behaving like he doesn't wish to walk anymore whereby he's just faking most of it out... While visiting him in his ward really put a toll on dad! Ah gong, ah gong, when will he ever walk again?

Well, it's part of life that things are rougher than other normal days... Keeping a positive mindset is the only thing to do right now. Besides, I'm the eldest here liao~

Celebrating Day before Work...

Clebrating the night before my first day at work tml...

ORD LOHHHH~

Having to stay all the way to almost 8pm in camp for my last day serving my NS, I was pretty relieved now sitting down at CCK MRT station waiting for my train. Boy, reflecting on these past three months had well emotionally oriented but still it passed by so swiftly and I can't help to tell myself its time to collect the old mindset and be ready to begin my new chapter the following Monday.... Which's my first day in NATSTEEL.

The thing I wish to say is not many people can serve NS two different times, and in two different nature of work. I was pretty much a jungle assualt force during my teenage years, well after my graduation back there now, I was simply serving as a normal office clerk. While both had its fun times and not so fun times, I can tell straight this time round is much much more enjoyable! The boss was a good gentleman type, while many cheeky colleages in the office together with me. So, I wanted to express my greatest gratitude to Cpt Toh, for really looking out for me. And not forgetting my new-found best friend Darren whom we share many common views on stuffs (except for woman).... While its super nice to know the rest of the people like Tim, Bryan, Jason, Sherman, Marrilyn, Smith, Harresh, Frank, Chief Chang (all best in he rexpedition around the world), etc.......

Time to take the green off and put on the working suit, say maybe for the next 30++ years lol~
