Time has comes~

In the begining, it's just an admiration of it hanging on the shop's shelf. Then came along a really good offer, and in the end this was found back in my room! Boy oh boy, am I being too rush to get this? Nah.... It's totally worth it!

This is a 2007 release model bike from SPECIALIZED, apparently I'm the only first person in Singapore to own this particular model & colour. Which means also this is the only frame in Singapore now, while the actual release is still pending somewhere in Nov'06 the earliest...

This fellow weighs exactly 8.025kg (plus minus 0.01kg), but weight can still be cut if I change my wheels to better ones such as Mavic Ksyrium ES, pedals to LOOK and while the groupset everything to Dura Ace... Maybe these actions will shack another near 0.5kg off my total setup.

Grand-daddy's sure feeling shiok with all the beautiful lady doctors & nurses in his ward, while almost forgetting his back hmmm still hurts.

Seeing is darn sure believeing! NUH offers some of the most prettiest doctors & nurses, and most improtantly they showered tender loving care for the patients (in this case, my grandpa)... Now who wouldn't felt any better with all the wonderful ladies around? Bet thats why my old man's man still doesn't feel a urge to come home. Meantime strolling along the wards, I was also pretty amazed to see these many pretty girls roaming around. Seems like all the pretty faces carry big caring loving hearts! So proud of them!

Bidding bye bye to grandpa, the rest of us left him in good HANDS of the NUH personels!!!

When you are done posing and gotten snapped by the photographer at BROADWAY, the place where I took my graduation photo with my family somewhere in Serangoon... It's a must to visit the place behind me which was just a few blocks away from the studio!

611 is the name of the shop, selling one of the most famous Tau Sar Piah around on this island. Favours comes in salted, roasted, sweet and their new creation, the green tea taste.

Jumping out of the car with 20 dollars from mum, my sister & I packaged two huge boxes of each salted and Penang-style favours... Come to think of it back in the car, I realized did I just give a miss on the 'green tea' ones. Arghhh~

Flashing out my K800i again... I went snapping snapping around the shop, goodness the boss doesn't even mind my camera going around peeping into their kitchen. Got to try this when you'll pass by.....

Flu Bomb DROPPED!!!

aHHHH Choooooooo~

"Down came another one" my sister laughed at me across the dining hall. Oh boy there's been this stupid flu virus spreading around my neighbourhood recently, causing almost, & almost everyone in town is down with a sore throat + running tap nose!

I still cannot believe this flu thing is catching that fast onto everyone. I stepped into the dining hall, made myself a double dose of vitamin C drink and walked away... "Flizzzzzz~" ah the drink sure tasted powerfully sour with the double dose C suppliments.

Being a sensitive allergic to dusts and maybe some other furry stuffs, it's always a difficult choice to decide whether my running nose is due to catching a cold or 'ganna' aggitated by those dusts! A thin line seperates them!

No matter what, hope everyone take good care of themselves......

PS: Today buy a new toy! hehehehe, I'll flash it out sooon!

Go the extra miles for Toilet?

Bidet? What's a Bidet anyway I thought to myself while performing my bombing exercise in the washroom at the Alexendra hospital. Boy am I finding more & more interesting things around the compound each and everyday. While I concentrated on the mission bombing aka shitting, I learnt new skills!

"How to use a bidet!" Basically consist of three easy steps, 1) make sure you are actually sitting on the bowl, 2) turn on the switch, 3) enjoy the washing... The very downside of this interesting invention is the disability to adjust the temperature of the washing water. But the cool chilling running water that washes the ass is cool enough~

When I'm done with everthing and ready to go, I thought it might be fun to share this encounter with those who visited my blog! I took the effort to take some pictures after washing my hands with the soap outside and walking in back the cubicle again snapping my way around. Plus making sure I got into one that smells better with their auto-timed release air refresher (in rose favor)...

The Notice on the wall

This notice strongly caught my attention when I stepped into the lift...

Oh yes, titled "No Ones Dies Alone Programme". For a moment, I thought to myself so it means that there's always someone die-ing together with you since when you decided to part the living world? And truly shock me because it almost means that if you sign up for the programme, you will be assured that at least one or more people will partner you to the next world, some sort of agreement yeah...

Ok, enough of the speculations and wild imaginative thoughts I had, I slowly glance downward reading the every paragraphs on the paper notice. Till then I realize how wrong I'm in judging the Title even without reading it till the end of the last word on the board notice.

It's a programme cater to gather as many volunteers as possible to care and love those ills, especially those being alone on the hospital beds. Not matter you are young, old, rich, poor, etc.... Sign up for the programme to shower some concerns to those fighting hard alone will very much give them the hopes to keep on FIGHTING for every chances to get well!

For more, please dial 9369 6297

Thanks!

The Panic

I was tossing & turning, finding too hard to fall asleep on my bed the night before. Somethings kept bothering me but yet I couldn't put to words what it's. Soon day breaks and I was finding myself dozing off when a call suddenly came in. Oh boy, who's that ringing at 7 in the morning

A help call from my grandpa, he fell down and hurted his back and its till then about 30mins later he managed to reach us across at another apartment. I jumped off the bed still wearing only my singlet and boxer, went rushing over the other house! I saw him trying to sit up on the bed, and in a terrible pain state when I'm over.

We rushed to the hospital in a cab together with dad, mom & sis, all of us were too panic to think while our grandpa sitting beside us growling in pain...

Sat there thinking of getting the doctor to attend to my grandpa asap, I was again told my number was 43! Helpless aside, I held on my grandpa's hand and "soon soon, we're the next" I told him. While in treatment, We can only stick closely outside the ward's curtain to wait....

When the pain was pretty much tone down after the injection, grandpa's still dun feel very much like speaking. All of us took turns in the ward as its regulations we shouldn't crowd around the bed with too many people.

After a few moments of feeding medicines, taking x-rays, BP, reflex testing, questioning by the nurses + blood testing.... We're cleared to send grandpa into the other proper ward bed!

Just then I realized I haven't even brushes my teeth & the time was about 6.30PM.......

The era in need of money!

Will I have enough money to even do this or that?

Well, couple of questions constantly pop out infront of me makes me wonder what can I do to save up just alittle bit more or even earn alittle bit more... And is the so-called decent pay of a normal fresh grad from Materials Engineering earning between 2,600-2,900 a month enough to meet the daily challenges in life?

Yes maybe, but it usually takes time to finally get things on track. First of all is find a job that pay well in the range I mentioned earlier on. While the next thing is to know where your money goes when the pay checks in every month. In the begining, some will be off to your CPFs, next is your study loans, and of course your family allowances... Putting aside also the money needed for the internet services, the mobile phone, the cableTVs, the transportational fees and even those contact lens lotions fee, etc......

Later after stabilizing the job, its time to think of marriage cost, car cost, house cost, renovation cost, child cost, aged parents cost, etc~

Urrrrhhhhhh...............

Too many -ve thoughs tonight, and only tonight~

Mr Erling Kagge

Today I read an article on a great man named Erling Kagge. He's a Norwegian adventurer who conquered both the North & South poles with minimal equipments and sometimes achieving them alone!

Below are some of his quotes in life he muses -
'
'Never choose the easy way when one can go the hard way'

'People become unfree when they try to avoid duties & obligations... but actually become they determine what they are going to choose, and end up living a less meaningful life.'

'To think of only yourself and your own well-being is boring'

He believes that all people has the greatness withing themselves and the possibilities of doing something great in life! Of course, not everyone will succeed yet everybody should go out there and find their own North Pole!

He has a book titled: <Kagge's Philosophy For Polar Explorer: What They Don't Teach You In School>

A good fun happy gathering!

Tonight celebrates my old pal Han's successfully gotten into the university he likes, and also a night for eveyone to gather around him and give him our blessing and well wishes as he's departing Singapore in just the next few weeks for his Master in Science!

We ate, chat, play, watch tv together the whole night and boy did I enjoyed myself. The fatty meat bun is really nice, haha but the fats really FAT! I failed making the popiah, ended up eating it in a mess... And lastly the game session was indeed the most enjoyable moment while everyone gets to mingle with one another.

Shopping along BT

A short sunday morning ride landed me at Tay's, one of the many bike shops along Bt Timah road and the best part is finally seeing my dream frame there!

The Tarmac Pro '07 is in stall, but the correct frame size still needs couple of waiting into the month of November. Good in a way, which means I have some more time to save those cash!
